I started off as an editorial writer at The Nation (Pakistan) for a year and a half (that's roughly 500 pieces) and then moved to the corporate communications.

Did that for a year and moved to a women's resourse and publication organisation. A year of this and I decided to go back into journalism, this time as the Assistant Editor of The Nation. The voting for the vacant NA-120 seat in Lahore is one that has captivated the nation; for obvious reasons of course. The seat of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, now being contested for between Kulsoom Nawaz and Dr Yasmin Rashid – who managed to get a significant number of votes while opposing Mr Sharif – is naturally going to be of interest in the wake of the Panama decision.
