WHAT IS THE CURRENT KNOWLEDGE ON THE TOPIC? Manual measurement on a 12-lead electrocardiogram (12L-ECG) is the reference standard for determining the heart rate-corrected QT interval (QTc). However, employing this method of electrocardiographic monitoring can be challenging in low resource settings. Thus, alternative, more easily implementable strategies are needed.
