TALOQAN (Pajhwok): Armed highway robbers on Friday looted 150 passengers of cash and valuables in northern Takhar province, officials said. Governor’s spokesman, Sunatullah Timori, told Pajhwok Afghan News the robbers looted passengers of four 303 model busses heading from Takhar province to Kabul this morning. He said the robbers stopped the buses in Ozun Passage of Rustaq district and then snatched all money and other valuable things of passengers.
TALOQAN (Pajhwok): Police have killed two people, including a bride, and wounded a third in northeastern Takhar province, an official alleged on Monday. Ghulam Mohammad, a resident of the provincial capital, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in the 3rd police district when police opened fire on a rickshaw. Two members of a family were killed and a third wounded in the shooting, Mohammad said, adding the bride had celebrated her wedding ceremony two days back.
TALIQAN (Pajhwok): Five Taliban militants, including their commander for Darqad district, have been killed and six other wounded during a clearing operation in northeast Takhar province, National Directorate of Security (NDS ) said on Sunday. The operation was conducted in the Basirkhel locality on Saturday night, a statement from the Spy-Network said. Five insurgents, including their Commander Mullah Mirwali, were killed and six others wounded during the overnight operation, the statement said.

Use parentheses to separate multiple
