Introduction Burkitt lymphoma (BL) is a highly aggressive malignant neoplasm that can occur in both children and adults. BL can occur at any age and demonstrates a male predominance. Endemic BL primarily affects children, whereas the sporadic and immunodeficiency-associated subtypes are more frequently observed in adults, with incidence peaks around age 50 and in the elderly.
