Abstract On 18 December 2023, a \(M_{\textrm{s}}\) 6.2 earthquake struck Jishishan, Gansu Province, northwestern China. The resulting aftershock sequence provides an important opportunity to investigate the seismogenic structure and postseismic activity in the source region. In this study, we analyzed continuous waveform data recorded by 31 seismic stations within 250 km of the epicenter from 19 to 31 December 2023 to construct a high-resolution earthquake catalog.

1. Introduction At present, research on the seismic resistance of cross-fault bridges is still in an early stage [1]. Seismic design and construction regulations mostly follow the principle of avoidance when dealing with active fault zones [2,3,4,5]. However, with the rapid development of highway and railway bridges, this principle has become difficult to meet in practice.

Abstract The bond stress disturbs the compressive stress in the concrete of reinforced concrete (RC) membrane elements. However, the contribution of bond stress to the compression in the cracked concrete struts was usually neglected. In this study, the contribution of bond stress to the maximum compression in the cracked RC was quantified by explicitly considering the bond stress in the truss model.
