(Yicai) July 13 -- Shein Global Holdings intends to issue up to 342 million ordinary shares as part of its planned listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The China Securities Regulatory Commission disclosed recently that it had received the offshore listing filing submitted by Shein through its mainland operating entity, Guangzhou-based Shein International Import & Export.

(Yicai) July 10 -- Twenty-eight people were killed in a fire at a shoe factory in Jinjiang, a county-level city in Quanzhou, China's southeastern Fujian province. The building, a five-story reinforced concrete workshop with a single floor area of 1,300 square meters, caught on fire at noon yesterday, said Xu Zhihui, director of the Quanzhou Fire and Rescue Bureau. The factory contained a large amount of flammable and combustible materials.
