The parents of a teenager who took her own life have urged people to talk about mental health struggles. Darcy, 17, the youngest daughter of Michael and Debbie Hollinson from Tavistock, Devon, died in 2021, months before finishing her first year of A-levels. "When a child takes their own life, it's like a bomb has gone off in the family," Debbie said.

Crew taken to safety after 60ft cruiser fire

Four people were taken to safety after a 60ft (18.2m) motor cruiser caught fire off the Isles of Scilly. The crew at St Mary's RNLI Lifeboat Station was tasked by HM Coastguard following a distress call from the motorboat reporting a fire at 17:35 BST on Saturday. The station said its lifeboat proceeded at "full speed" to the vessel and arrived on scene at 18:40 to find four people on deck.
