Comparative analysis of the ten Tusscher and Tomek human ventricular cell models at cellular, tissue, and organ levels: Implications for post‐infarct ventricular tachycardia simulation
1 INTRODUCTION Computational cardiac modeling has become a powerful tool for exploring the mechanisms underlying normal and pathological cardiac electrophysiology (Bishop et al., 2010; Gong et al., 2007; Trayanova et al., 2024; Vigmond et al., 2009; Zhao et al., 2012).
Potential clinical value and influence of conductivity in conductive cardiac patches for reducing post-MI arrythmia risks
Abstract Conductive cardiac patches can help to restore electric signal conduction of the diseased myocardium after myocardial infarction (MI). However, none of the conductive cardiac patches reported in literature has entered clinical trials. Bench-to-bedside translation of conductive patches has long been hindered by the lack of knowledge of the optimal patch conductivity and deep understanding of the potential clinical benefits and risks in patients.
