Abstract Rural reservoirs increasingly function as multifunctional landscape systems, yet methods for assessing their ecological, environmental, economic, and social performance remain limited. This study assessed the performance of the rural reservoir landscape as a stakeholder-rated, multidimensional construct in Banshan Village, Xuzhou, China. Field observations and secondary sources informed indicator selection and interpretation but were not used for numerical scoring.
