“And declare: The truth has come, and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is bound to vanish” (Quran 17:81) After dominating the world’s cultural and civilizational scene for many centuries, the Muslim Ummah slowly found itself at crisis as our cultural identities and civilizational existence were in trouble.

“We will show them Our signs in the universe and in their own selves, until it becomes manifest to them that this (the Quran) is the truth” (Quran; 41:53). Based on this Quranic verse, Allah (SWT) exhorts Muslims to observe and study the universe in order to find some of His signs. For that reason, many verses of the Noble Quran invite Muslims to study nature and seek knowledge, and this has been interpreted to mean encouragement for scientific inquiry.

‚ÄúSee you not that whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth, and the sun , and the moon, and the stars , and the mountains, and the trees, and living creatures , beasts and many of mankind prostate themselves to Allah‚Ķ‚Ä̬† (Quran; 22:18) [1] This Quranic verse aroused my curiosity in order to find the commonality in the commandments of Allah (SWT) related to nature and human beings.
