A 32-year-old male presented with a 2-day history of mild fever and multiple vesicles. The skin lesion had begun to appear on the palms (Figure 1A) and progressed to the planta of the feet (Figure 1B) subsequently 3 days before he came to the hospital. He had no history of medical problems in the past. However, we found that his 3-year-old son had been recently diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth (HFM) disease just 5 days before the onset of the patient’s skin lesions.
