Route 123 Railroad Crossing in Norwalk Closed Again for Repairs, CTDOT Says Work to Finish by December

NORWALK, Conn. — A pivotal traffic route at the railroad crossing on 123 that closed in August for repairs has been closed again this week and remained so on Tuesday (Oct. 21). Access to Route 123 from Main Street, just after the off-ramp from Route 7, has been fully closed. The road reopened on Wednesday; however, temporary lane closures and traffic shifts will begin and continue through completion of the project, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

Community arts and events space prepares for preliminary opening in May Granite Church | March 4, 2024 Leaders of the community arts and music venue to be housed in the historic Granite Church at 5 North Main Street in Georgetown continue to fundraise for the renovations to the building ahead of the opening the spring.
