ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - A basketball fundraiser tomorrow at Augustana College will do much more than just provide good exercise. It's being held to support two local families. Professional basketball skills coach Jordan Delp is hosting it. The event is open to kids from kindergarten to high school. The camp will teach them basics like dribbling, shooting, rebounding, and defense. It's from 1 - 3 p.m. at the Carver Center on the campus of Augustana College. It's $25 to go and you can register at the door.

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. - Quad Cities Police Departments have been dealing with an uptick in car thefts recently. Rock Island Criminal Investigations Division Commander Lieutenant Tim McCloud joined us in studio to talk more about his staff is handling it. He says last year, 84% of vehicle burglaries involved vehicles that were unlocked. 74% of the vehicles stolen were either left unlocked, running, or the keys were left inside the vehicle. There are some simple tips to make sure you don't become a victim.

DAVENPORT, Iowa - The local chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is continually working to raise funds for research into the disease and treatment options for those already diagnosed. Alzheimer's dementia is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States, it is also the only cause of death among the top 10 in America without a way to prevent, cure, or even slow its progression.
