In 2020 he was named Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards writer of the year. He has written for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Esquire, and VinePair, where he currently serves as their writer-at-large. He co-hosts and co-created the shows "Tailgaters" (ViceTV) and "The Sipping Point" (Spirits Network). He lives in Brooklyn with his family.

It means people are giving me more respect than I probably deserve. I prefer to just be called a: writer.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
A Macbook. The Simon & Garfunkel Pandora station. Sometimes a glass of beer.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No.
