What was your first job as a journalist?

I was hired to write gig reviews for the Birmingham publication Birmingham Review.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

When I was younger- I'm far too impatient now!

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Audition.

What's your favorite social network?

Instagram or Twitter.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I was the editor of the school magazine and website.

When's the best time to pitch you?

In the mornings- I check my emails most then and it gives me the rest of the day to mull the pitch over.

What's your favorite drink?

Whisky Sours!
