What was your first job as a journalist?

A reporter covering People and Society Beat.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Nope.

How is social media changing news?

In a swift. Social Media makes it easy to get first-hand information on events and also to report as it breaks.

What tools and software do you use to do your job?

I was able to use different fact checking tools like TruthNest, twitonomy, HOAXY, and other tools

Why did you become a journalist?

So that I will report the latest happenings to the world.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I was appointed the Editor-in-Chief for Gazelle Magazine and Tile-Toko Newspaper, a publication of the Department of Mass Communication at the defunct Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH) now Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH).

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Never give up trying. Maintain a positive mindset and belief in yourself. Never stop learning, and keep an eye out for new technology that can improve the quality of the work you do.

Coca-Cola

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

On phone.
