For over 40 years, Toyota Camry has excelled at being the ubiquitous choice for those seeking family transportation that isn’t minivan- or SUV-shaped. Now in its ninth generation, this all-new 2025 Toyota Camry all-new model seems some changes to cater to ever-changing buyer demographics, so we spent some time with it to see how the traditional midsize sedan fares in a market dominated by crossovers of all shapes and sizes.

Nostalgia is one hell of a drug, or so I’ve been hearing. I grew up in the suburbs of Toronto and got my driver’s license in the mid-2000s. This puts me right at driving age when the Fast & Furious franchise was at its peak, and every young guy wearing oversized clothing suddenly wanted an Infiniti — but not just any Infiniti. This 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe was quite literally peak motoring for my 18-year-old self. Of course, being a student at the time, I didn’t have the money for a brand-new one.

We’ve now tested the all-electric Porsche Taycan on multiple occasions, in a variety of configurations. For the most part, our team tends to agree that the 4S strikes the best balance between performance and efficiency. At the same time, most enthusiasts regard the GTS trims as being the proverbial “sweet spot” of not just the Taycan lineup, but most other Porsche models as a whole.
