PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Advance Community dedicated its newly renovated kitchen Wednesday, naming the space “Frank’s Place” in honor of former Arizona’s Family news anchor Frank Camacho. The renovated kitchen will support Advance Community’s nutrition programs, which deliver meals to more than 480 seniors each week. The organization also distributes 2,640 healthy food boxes to families.

The Arctic chill returns to Kansas into the weekend

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Meteorologist Adrian Campa says the snowpack kept temperatures in central Kansas and the Wichita area in the middle 30s, while western Kansas soared into the 40s and 50s where little to no snow is on the ground. The next weather hazard we will face is the threat of freezing fog for the Thursday morning commute thanks to arctic air moving in. Thanks to recent snow melt over snow covered areas, patchy freezing fog will be possible for areas along and south of I-70.

From record heat to storms and snowfall

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - Meteorologist Adrian Campa says it was another nice spring-like day! We saw bright blue skies with temperatures topped out in the lower to middle 60s. Several areas (Wichita, Salina, and Russell) saw record breaking heat this afternoon. Wichita broke a 100+ year old record! The unseasonably mild weather conditions will hang around on Wednesday with highs in the lower to middle 60s, or twenty degrees above average for early January.
