Adrianne Sanogo is a GIA Graduate Gemologist® (GG), jewelry journalist, educator, competition judge, and co-founder of the Future Jewelers Foundation. Her work explores gems, jewelry, watches, provenance, and the stories objects carry across time.

2025 - Industry Recognition & Editorial Leadership

Selected as an Advisory Panelist and Contributor for The Jewelry Book (Phaidon), a global survey of jewelry history, design, craftsmanship, and cultural significance. Adrianne contributed four entries to the volume, including profiles of George Kunz, LL Cool J, Ambaji Shinde, and Gabriel Tolkowsky. As an advisory panelist, she joined an international group of jewelry experts, historians, curators, editors, and industry leaders helping shape one of the most comprehensive contemporary references on jewelry.

Gemstone Appreciation Judge, JGAA Design Dynamics

2026 - Industry Recognition & Judging

Selected as the Gemstone Appreciation Judge for the JGAA Design Dynamics Competition during Geneva’s annual gathering of the international gem and jewelry trade. Drawing on her expertise as a GIA Graduate Gemologist®, journalist, and educator, Adrianne evaluated gemstones through both technical and consumer-facing perspectives. Her appointment reflects industry recognition of her expertise in gemstone appreciation, education, and communication.

Selected to serve as a juror for the HRD Design Awards, an internationally recognized jewelry design competition celebrating excellence in jewelry design and craftsmanship. Adrianne was invited to join an international panel of industry experts responsible for evaluating submissions from designers worldwide. Adrianne has served as a CASE Awards judge since 2021, evaluating entries across multiple design categories and contributing her expertise in gemology, jewelry evaluation, consumer education, and design excellence.
