Butterfly Village Inc. will host its third annual “Changing Lanes Car Show” on Saturday, June 6 at Cavalier Ford. Proceeds from the event will benefit the organization’s She Can STEM Academy, which introduces girls in elementary, middle and high school to careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

(WAVY) — A shipyard manager has filed a $15 million lawsuit against the United States, alleging he suffered severe and permanent injuries after receiving an electrical shock aboard a U.S. Navy vessel undergoing repairs in Norfolk. The lawsuit, filed June 1 in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, was brought by Darnell Fisher, an operations project manager for Lyon Shipyard.
