ALEXANDRIA — The Alexandria Area High School Performing Arts Center stage was transformed into a time machine from the 1950s on Thursday, July 2. The three-piece band, The Holy Rocka Rollaz, connected with the crowd by performing classic early rock-n-roll that included its by Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline and many more. The event, presented by the Red Willow Arts Coalition, typically takes place on the courthouse lawn, bu it was moved indoors because of threatening weather.
