What was your first job as a journalist?
Reporter at Cultural Section of Time Out Mexico Magazine
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To me, being a journalist means having the privilege and responsibility of telling stories that matter. It's about uncovering the truth, giving a voice to those who might not otherwise be heard, and informing the public in a way that is both accurate and impactful. Journalism is not just a job; it's a commitment to curiosity, integrity, and a deep belief in the power of information to shape society for the better. It’s about constantly learning, asking the right questions, and always striving to make a difference through the stories we tell.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
By email
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Many: GA4, Wordpress, Webceo, Semrush, Marfeel, ChatGP3, Adobe...
What's your favorite social network?
Instagram
Who do you wish followed you?
I would like to be followed by media professionals looking for journalists who tell interesting stories and curious readers.
Why did you become a journalist?
Ever since I was little, I chose a microphone as a toy to do 'reporting' on the things that happened to me. As I grew up, I realized I wanted to write and be a journalist. I wanted to report on interesting things happening around me, and most importantly, things that were relevant to my community. I studied Communication Sciences, but I specialized in written journalism, and as I started working, I further trained myself to cover stories in audio and video, expanding my storytelling.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes, In fact I was the founder, editor and reporter lol
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Be persistent, read a lot, and believe in yourselves.

Mornings
What's the best pitch you ever got?
Covering the launch of the Gen3 Formula E car in Monaco during the 2022 E-Prix.

It was a generic, overly promotional piece with no real news value or relevance to my audience.
What's your favorite drink?
Beer
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Listening music, reading books and playing with my doggy
