Runners once again will have the chance to kick off their Fourth of July celebration at the second annual Run White and Blue 5K, one of several events scheduled in downtown Norfolk on Independence Day. The race begins at 8 a.m. Saturday, with organizers encouraging participants to arrive by 7 a.m. because of increased traffic from the Fourth of July parade, the Norfolk Farmers Market and other downtown activities. The starting line will be at the intersection of Norfolk Avenue and Third Street.
