Ultraviolet absorbents (UVAs) are widely used in plastics, personal care products and industrial products (Rani et al., 2017; Sakuragi et al., 2021; Carve et al., 2021a). Currently, the major UVAs in common use include benzophenones (BPs), benzotriazoles (BUVSs), and cyanoacrylates (Carve et al., 2021b).
