I am an independent scholar, and I write academic and journalistic pieces about the representation of securitization, including torture, surveillance, and drone warfare.

I completed my PhD in English Literature and Film at Newcastle University in 2014. That’s when I learned the hard difference between generated knowledge and sourced knowledge.
