Letters to the editor, March 3 Comfortable legislators What is happening? Our state lawmakers are changing the campaign finance laws to make sure that they have their offices for life. The article in the Tennessean on Feb. 19, describing the bills that are being considered, are concerning. The legislature is considering campaign finance laws that benefit those who currently hold office. They want to raise their PAC contributions from $12,300 limit to $20,000.
