This type of character design is paired with higher stakes than comparable franchises. While Digimon exist in a state of frequent reincarnation, Digimon and the people in these stories can perish. Emotions are more meaningful and loss feels impactful. Generally speaking, the franchise has a history of telling strong stories. With that background in mind, Time Stranger feels like one of the stronger entries in the Digimon tapestry of tales, though it’s not without faults.

The game is both visually and mechanically pleasing. Ender Magnolia excels at traversal, level design, boss encounters, and world building with only a few areas of opportunity to improve it. For those familiar with the genre, the game’s movement feels immediately satisfying as Lilac snaps to ledges, floats through the air with precise strikes and layered actions, rolls through attacks, and blasts foes away with generously timed counters.

First paid writing job was to establish beats for the start of Twin Galaxies but some of my first games writing volunteer gigs were reviews.

Have you ever used a typewriter?

No! I would love to have a keyboard with typewriter keys or get a chance to use one though!

What does it mean to be a journalist?

Taking in a story, research, insight, and transforming it into the best, most honest version of that story that you can tell.
