Held on July 6, the event brought together athletes from 20 countries. Kyung Hee University’s Poomsae Team delivered a standout performance in the G1 division, with Park Chae-won claiming victory in the women’s individual division after defeating Seo Chae-won, who was selected this year as a national team member, in the final with a score of 9.066. Park, who won gold at the 2024 World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in Hong Kong, once again demonstrated her elite level on the international stage.

In world Poomsae, Korea remains the benchmark. Not only because it is the birthplace of Taekwondo, but because its domestic system continues to produce athletes shaped by repetition, pressure, discipline and an almost obsessive attention to detail. TS Taekwondo has become one of the clearest examples of that model.
