Abstract Background: Age-related hearing loss (ARHL) is the most common sensory loss in older adults, but the underlying pathological mechanisms remain unclear. Recent genome wide association studies (GWAS) have linked variation in a large number of genes with increased risk of ARHL for the first time. Amongst the strongest of these associations is variation in KLHDC7B, a gene of unknown function and one not previously linked to hearing.

10 When I was applying to college during my senior year of high school, the University of Denver was not my first choice. In fact, DU wasn’t on my list of potential colleges. I initially applied early decision to Brandeis University and when I was accepted, I was ecstatic to attend. However, in the time between when I was accepted in December 2019 and when it was time for me to begin school in August 2020, the world had drastically changed.

However, I have noticed over the past couple of years the pricing of books has risen to the point where I can get half of the books I previously could for the same price. In a situation like this, it is easy to turn to Amazon where books are cheaper and I did take this route for a while.
