CHICAGO — Chicago renters will soon be able to search for affordable housing units across the city using a centralized portal launched via a unanimous City Council vote on Wednesday. The Accountable Housing and Anti Discrimination Act ordinance, a two-year pilot program, will launch an interactive database listing the number of affordable housing units available throughout Chicago, along with waitlist and housing provider information.
