Alexia Gordon

I’ve never been to New Zealand, and this book makes me feel like I’m there with forensic odontologist Alexa Glock, who identifies bodies via dental records. She navigates men, murder, and the ocean in this tightly woven murder mystery that’s as much about her personal life as her professional one. I learned quite a bit about sharks and whales, and bonus, this mystery includes quicksand! Why should I read it?

60 episodes Lefty Award-winning, Agatha Award-nominated, and Silver Falchion Award-nominated author, Alexia Gordon, interviews authors who write along the crime fiction spectrum from traditional to cozy to the edge of cozy. Mystery without explicit violence, sex, or gore. Mystery full of intricate plots, engaging characters, and brilliant writing.

Welcome back, everyone! I hope you’re holding together with me through the general madness happening in the world. As I work online and for a small international company, I’ve had a very unique perspective as the current crisis unfolded. More on that later, though. You’re not here to hear yet another chat about the things we can’t change. You’re here for an escape from the world’s troubles. What better way to give your mind a little relief than by diving into wonderful art, music and literature?
