RIO RANCHO, N.M. – Rio Rancho police charged a man with child abuse after they said he held four teens, including his son at gunpoint and forced them to fight. Police said David Hill faces multiple charges including three counts of child abuse and three counts of aggravated assault. Two parents of the teens spoke with KOB 4, anonymously. EDGEWOOD, N.M. – A petition in Edgewood calls for disincorporating the town as residents debate fire and EMS service and Santa Fe County’s future role. The petition began circulating after questions about emergency services in Edgewood were raised. Last month, there was an agreement between Santa Fe County and the town regarding fire and emergency medical services, but county leaders later said they learned that someone had changed the agreement after negotiations ended.
