Case Reports5 July 2022 Author, Article, and Disclosure Information Abstract Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) cardiomyopathy (CM) usually presents with a hypertrophic or restrictive pattern. We present a patient case of dilated HCQ-CM with normal wall thickness in young woman with systemic lupus erythematosus and end-stage kidney disease. In patients undergoing renal replacement therapy, the daily dose should be lower than recommended by the manufacturer to avoid toxic effects.
