IT’S A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION THAT HAS JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING BIRTHDAY BALLOONS, EVEN A BIRTHDAY CAKE. AND THE ONES ENJOYING THE CELEBRATION ARE FOUR-LEGGED FRIENDS. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF ANIMALS HAVE BEEN SAVED IN THE 80 YEARS THAT WAYSIDE WAIFS HAS BEEN HERE. YEP, IT’S A PRETTY SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE AND MAYBE THE MOST IMPRESSIVE THING.

AMES -- On Tuesday night, several people found notes left on their cars. They were explicit in nature, with specific physical and clothing descriptions of the victims. On Wednesday, David Cheney, age 39, was arrested for seven counts of harassment. Cheney is from Rochester, MN and it is not clear why he was in Central Iowa.
