1. Introduction Prostate cancer (PCa) is the leading male cancer diagnosis in the United States and saw an incidence rate increase of 3% annually from 2014 through 2019. There is a lifetime probability of one in eight men developing invasive prostate cancer, and this constitutes an estimated 288,300 new male cancer diagnoses in 2023 [1]. Although PCa is expected to account for 27% of new male cancer diagnoses, not all cases have high metastatic potential or mortality risk.
