ALON SAHAR

Alon Sahar is the author of Staatsräson Monitor, a newsletter critically examining German-Israeli relations. He is an award-winning independent researcher and analyst (Docaviv Research Award 2022), strategist (Cactus Award 2010), and filmmaker (Gelem, OUT – both winners at the Haifa Film Festival).

With a background spanning film and human rights work at Breaking the Silence and B’Tselem, Sahar combines rigorous analysis with creative storytelling. His research and commentary have appeared in Der Spiegel, EUobserver, The Jerusalem Post, and Verfassungsblog.
