4. Discussion Ae albopictus, a mosquito vector of arboviral diseases, has expanded its distribution area globally due to its ability to adapt to climate change and new environments [44,45,46]. The alarming increase in dengue fever cases in some West African countries in recent years has received relatively less attention in Benin. This situation is justified by the lack of information about the distribution of the main vectors that are involved.
