Amanda M. Socci is a freelance writer from Alexandria, VA who has been writing professionally since 1998. A diehard creative, Amanda specializes in interviewing people in pursuit of diverse stories to write, with a preference on stories about people in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
Amanda founded and published Consumers Everywhere Magazine from 1998 - 2002. Amanda founded and has published DMV Shorts Magazine from 2021 - 2025. As of March 2025, Amanda is an aspiring book author and is tentatively scheduled to publisher her forthcoming memoir "Getting Over It"by the summer of 2026.
