Amar Guriro is an environmental journalist, correspondent Independent Urdu based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan.

Amar is also alumni of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program.

Guriro covers environment, science, climate change, weather, wildlife; also religious minorities and water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) issues and long feature stories and investigative pieces.
