Amber Walker’s Biography
Amber C. Walker is a reporter at the Capital Times. She covers K-12 education for schools in the Madison, Wisconsin area. Before coming to the Cap Times, Walker interned with Madison365. Her freelance work has been published in The Huffington Post, The Madison Times, Umoja Magazine and Pass the Chalk (Teach for America's official blog.) Walker also taught secondary English at Miami Northwestern Senior High school as a Teach for America corps member. Walker is a proud southside of Chicago native and alumnus of Oberlin College.
