Amit Paley is a former investigative journalist and foreign correspondent at The Washington Post. He covered several high-profile stories, and was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for his work in Iraq. Paley worked as CEO of The Trevor Project, the world’s largest mental health and suicide prevention organization for LGBTQ youth, and previously worked as Associate Partner at the global consulting firm, McKinsey & Company.
Paley is a prominent expert on mental health, young people, LGBTQ issues, and entrepreneurship and he has written on these topics for several media outlets, including: CNN, The New York Times, ABC, NBC, Fortune, NPR, USA Today, and CBS. Paley has a Master’s from Columbia Journalism School, where he was a Knight-Bagehot Fellow. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University, where he was president of the Harvard Crimson.
