Ten years ago, I began my journey with The Trevor Project as a Lifeline volunteer crisis counselor, imbued with a passion to save the lives of LGBTQ youth and help them envision a brighter future. At the time, Trevor was a small, but mighty, team, predominantly focused on our 24/7 crisis services and ensuring there was always an accepting, affirming voice that LGBTQ youth could reach whenever they needed.
