I recently took my first trip to the Middle East, and have a few observations. Please consider the following post to be highly speculative, based on a limited understanding of the region. As soon as I boarded the Qatar Airways flight from LAX, I noticed the diversity of the cabin crew, which included blond Europeans, East Asians, Africans and Middle Easterners. One thing they had in common is that they were all young, attractive women.
