When polls opened at 6:30 a.m., Steven Hannah, a poll worker at Adam Hall in Auburn Township, saw the longest voting lines he’s ever seen in Geauga County. “These are the longest lines I’ve ever seen,” Hannah said. The lines stretched into the parking lot late into the morning, and led up to a steady stream of voters in the afternoon.

UH Geauga Breaks Ground for Cancer Center Expansion

University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center broke ground Oct. 27 for a $4.8 million project that will create an additional 11,500 square feet on the east side of the Seidman Cancer Center, overlooking rolling valleys and scenic natural views that can’t be found in large downtown hospitals. The expansion is expected to open in the summer of 2017.
