A Flicker of Hope in the Wasteland?
In the wasteland that American politics has become, there are flickers of hope every now and then. In the winter and spring of 2011, there was the wave of worker-led resistance to efforts by Republican governors and legislators to destroy public-sector unions. Then, in the fall and winter, there was Occupy Wall Street and the many Occupy offshoots it spawned. What was happening in America seemed of a piece with the Arab Spring.
The Koinos Community is partnering with Rhubarb Media
The Koinos community marketing group is excited to announce a new partnership with Rhubarb Media, an established marketing firm spanning both the Web2 and Web3 space. Rhubarb Media, founded in 2006 has worked with many blockchain projects starting in 2016 like PIVX, Vendible, EGEM, IoP, Alis, and Kaspa. This collaboration aims to elevate Koinos’s presence in the Web3 market through grassroots marketing strategies and engaging community initiatives.
Proposed Upgrade: Allowances
Koinos is getting even better (and safer) thanks to an upgrade submitted by community developer Julian Gonzalez. Arguably the most innovative feature in Koinos is its modular and fork-less upgrades, which means upgrades can be made to the system by anyone through the same kind of smart contract that would power a dApp. Because upgrades are just smart contracts, this makes creating them accessible to anyone who knows how to write smart contracts on Koinos.
