Abstract To explore whether ultra-sensitive circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) profiling enables earlier prediction of treatment response and detection of disease progression, we applied NeXT Personal, an ultra-sensitive bespoke tumor-informed liquid biopsy platform, to profile tumor samples from the KeyLargo study, a phase II trial in which metastatic esophagogastric cancer (mEGC) patients received capecitabine, oxaliplatin, and pembrolizumab.

Shooting in Davis leaves 3 injured

A shooting in Davis Saturday afternoon left two teenagers and a 24-year-old injured. A spokesperson with the Davis Police Department said the people who were shot are currently in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting happened on the day of UC Davis’s annual Picnic Day. The official festivities occur on the university’s campus with unofficial events occurring throughout Davis, and attract thousands of students and community members.

Local refugee program struggles without federal support

Since taking office a little over two months ago, President Donald Trump has continued to carry out his promises of cracking down on immigration. He has also halted the resettlement of refugees. These programs have been suspended and federal funding has been slashed.
