AI Agents Are Turning CTOs Into City Planners
Andrey Kuznetsov is a founder and CTO focused on agentic systems in finance, blockchain infrastructure and regulated financial technology. For years, engineering organizations were built around scarcity. Headcount was the ceiling. Merge conflicts were manageable. System analysts translated business intent into something engineering could build. The main question was simple: How do we allocate limited human capacity? AI agents change that assumption.

F-W Finke-Watzky LB Lewy body PD Parkinson's disease α-syn α-synuclein 1 Introduction Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative condition marked by the degeneration of dopaminergic neurons in the substantia nigra, accompanied by the formation of Lewy bodies (LBs), which are abnormal protein aggregates found within affected neurons [1-5].
Attacks via a New OAuth flow, Authorization Code Injection, and Whether HttpOnly, PKCE, and BFF Can Help
In this article, we’ll take a close look at an interesting attack vector targeting applications that use OAuth/OIDC. We’ll explore the required preconditions for this attack — and see that they might not be as unrealistic as they seem at first glance. We’ll also cover the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) pattern and different ways to implement PKCE for confidential clients — and check whether these approaches actually help to mitigate the attack in question.

Predicting Biological Age Using an Accumulated Neurotoxicity Biomarker for Amyloid Beta Oligomers
Abstract This study proposes using accumulated neurotoxicity, defined as the time integral of Aβ oligomer concentration, as a biomarker for neuronal aging. A relationship between biological age and accumulated neurotoxicity is proposed. Numerical analysis guided the development of a new analytical solution linking the biological and calendar ages of neurons. The effects of Aβ monomer and oligomer half-lives - key indicators of proteolytic efficiency - on biological age are examined.

Modeling of ATP Transport in an Axon: Effects of Spontaneous Neuron Firing and Mitochondrial Transfer via Tunneling Nanotubes
Abstract While electrical activity in neurons has been extensively studied, the transport and distribution of adenosine triphosphate (ATP), the primary cellular energy carrier, remain less understood, particularly in relation to metabolic processes in axons. ATP is primarily generated in mitochondria and consumed at synapses, the primary sites of energy demand.
Evaluating Combined Neurotoxicity of Amyloid Beta and Tau Oligomers in Alzheimer's Disease: A New Criterion
Abstract A criterion characterizing the combined neurotoxicity of amyloid beta and tau oligomers is suggested. A mathematical model that makes it possible to calculate a value of this criterion during senile plaque and NFT formation is proposed. Computations show that for physiologically relevant parameter values, the value of the criterion increases approximately linearly as time increases.

Criterion for assessing accumulated neurotoxicity of alpha-synuclein oligomers in Parkinson's disease
Abstract The paper introduces a parameter called "accumulated neurotoxicity" of α-syn oligomers, which measures the cumulative damage these toxic species inflict on neurons over time, given the years it typically takes for such damage to manifest. A threshold value for accumulated neurotoxicity is estimated, beyond which neuron death is likely.

Simulating growth of TDP-43 cytosolic inclusion bodies in neurons
Abstract This paper introduces a mathematical model for the growth of transactive response DNA binding protein of 43 kDa (TDP-43) inclusion bodies in neuron soma. The model's equations enable numerical determination of the concentrations of TDP-43 dimers, monomers, and aggregates. Assuming all aggregates integrate into the inclusion bodies, the model predicts the size of TDP-43 inclusion bodies.
A criterion characterizing accumulated neurotoxicity of Aβ oligomers in Alzheimer's disease
Abstract The paper develops a criterion to quantify the accumulated neurotoxicity of Aβ oligomers in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Accumulated neurotoxicity is determined by integrating the concentration of Aβ oligomers within the control volume over time.
Simulating the growth of TAF15 inclusions in neuron soma
Abstract To the best of the author's knowledge, this paper presents the first attempt to develop a mathematical model of the formation and growth of inclusions containing misfolded TATA-box binding protein associated factor 15 (TAF15). It has recently been shown that TAF15 inclusions are involved in approximately 10% of cases of frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD). FTLD is the second most common neurodegenerative disease after Alzheimer's disease (AD).

The growth rate of senile plaques is determined by the competition between the rate of deposition of free Aβ aggregates into plaques and the autocatalytic production of free Aβ aggregates
Abstract The formation of amyloid beta (Aβ) deposits (senile plaques) is one of the hallmarks of Alzheimer's disease (AD). This study investigates what processes are primarily responsible for their formation. A model is developed to simulate the diffusion of amyloid beta (Aβ) monomers, the production of free Aβ aggregates through nucleation and autocatalytic processes, and the deposition of these aggregates into senile plaques.
Effects of time-dependent ATP consumption caused by neuron firing on ATP concentrations in synaptic boutons containing and lacking a stationary mitochondrion
Abstract The reason why only about half of the presynaptic release sites lack a stationary mitochondrion, and how the sites without a stationary mitochondrion are supplied with ATP, is still not fully understood. This paper develops a mathematical model designed to simulate the transient ATP concentration in presynaptic en passant boutons.
Numerical modeling of senile plaque development under conditions of limited diffusivity of amyloid-β monomers
Abstract This paper introduces a method to simulate the progression of senile plaques, focusing on scenarios where concentrations of amyloid beta (Aβ) monomers and aggregates vary between neurons. Extracellular variations in these concentrations may arise from the limited diffusivity of Aβ monomers and a high rate of Aβ monomer production at lipid membranes, requiring a substantial concentration gradient for diffusion-driven transport of Aβ monomers.
ATAT: Automated Tissue Alignment and Traversal in Spatial Transcriptomics with Self-Supervised Learning

Lewy Body Radius Growth: The Hypothesis of the Cube Root of Time Dependency
Abstract This paper presents a model for the growth of Lewy bodies (LBs), which are pathological hallmarks of Parkinson's disease (PD). The model simulates the growth of classical LBs, consisting of a core and a halo. The core is assumed to comprise lipid membrane fragments and damaged organelles, while the halo consists of radiating alpha-synuclein (α-syn) fibrils. The Finke-Watzky model is employed to simulate the aggregation of lipid fragments and α-syn monomers.
Numerical and analytical simulation of the growth of amyloid-β plaques
Abstract Numerical and analytical solutions to calculate the radius of an amyloid-β (Aβ) plaque over time were obtained. To my knowledge, this is the first model simulating the growth of Aβ plaques. It is shown that the plaque can reach the diameter of 50 μm after 20 years of growth only if degradation machinery responsible for degradation of Aβ monomers is malfunctioning. A mathematical model incorporates a nucleation and an autocatalytic growth using the Finke-Watzky model.

Integrated Pancreatic Blood Flow: Bidirectional Microcirculation Between Endocrine and Exocrine Pancreas
Islet Studies Abstract The pancreatic islet is a highly vascularized endocrine micro-organ. The unique architecture of rodent islets, a so-called core-mantle arrangement seen in two-dimensional images, led researchers to seek functional implications for islet hormone secretion. Three models of islet blood flow were previously proposed, all based on the assumption that islet microcirculation occurs in an enclosed structure.
Weekly Credit Insight
There has been an unprecedented rise in the value of negative-yielding assets this year. The share of global assets that are negative yielding rose to an all-time high of 29% in August and now stands at just above 20% – still a hefty proportion of the fixed-income universe. This means that 2019 has become the first year in the modern history of credit markets where global investment-grade returns match those of high yield.
