(WBRE/WYOU) — All this week we have been looking back at the career of our colleague and friend Andy Mehalshick. Andy of course covered many high-profile cases over the years and won many awards for his work. But many will remember him for one of his favorite projects: keeping children safe in his popular “Stranger danger” series. The Stranger Danger Program was launched in 1994. The mission was simple, to keep kids safe and teach them what to do if they were approached by a stranger.
