The sound of our laughter echoed our ‘togetherness’. Even on our saddest days we could laugh our pains away, feeling lighter and happier. Our friendship bloomed at our workplace. We were management professors, wearing a serious demeanour in the class and merry and jolly later. We shared everything, from our forbidden secrets to our silliest dreams. Ten years of companionship and then, the worst happened, we separated.

Is failing easy? Even a toddler cries when she drops her toy she was happily playing with! Think about the grown ups who invest their efforts, time, money and emotions to bring their dreams to life! And instead of basking in the glory of success, they end up stumbling down the ladder. All hopes shattered into pieces in the snap of a finger. Alas! Some give-up right at that moment while only a handful rebuild themselves, just to fall and ‘fail’ again! Yet they do not succumb to the fiascos.

Her kind of love was not loud, it was rather ‘unspoken’………… 7th November, 2018 Diwali They say that diyas bring light, fortune and hope, so I decided to make a diya mandala at the entrance of my home. The fragrance of maroon geru and yellow marigold petals created a divine symphony of the damp earth and drifting air! While I was lost in creating a perfect rangoli, I heard someone’s footsteps. I paused as the patter became closer and louder. It was Mr. Kanungo.
