To be truthful and transparent. To provide trustworthy and vetted information.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Otter.ai is the best for recording interviews. I write all my stories in Google Docs.

Instagram or TikTok. Very Gen Z, I know.
Who do you wish followed you?
The Washington Post. That is my dream job.
Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist so that I can keep those in power accountable. I want to tell underrepresented communities' stories.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of a story I wrote about the night shift housekeepers at my university.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Don't be afraid to try new things! Even if you don't think you know enough about it.
What's your favorite drink?
Coffee! It's a necessity for journalists.

On a hiking trail!
